Press Kit: Bonnard Museum and Kitty Shpirer in a Unique Colaboration
 

As part of its summer program, the Bonnard Museum offers a dual immersion into the painter’s world. "Bonnard Intimate" – Marthe’s Toilette explores one of the most sensitive themes in his work: Marthe, his wife and muse, captured in the intimacy of her daily gestures. Paintings, drawings, and works on paper reveal a vision in which light, color, and the presence of the body transform everyday life into art. Echoing this, the special exhibition "L’Atelier au Mimosa", centered on the masterpiece on loan from the Centre Pompidou – National Museum of Modern Art, unveils the studio as a space for creation, memory, and dialogue between interior and landscape.

To extend this sensory journey, perfumer Kitty Shpirer has created an olfactory experience inspired by a selection of Pierre Bonnard’s paintings. Inspired by the colors, light, and intimacy of the painter’s world, these creations invite visitors to explore the works in a new way, fostering a dialogue between the gaze, memory, and emotion.
