Collaboration with Bonnard Museum
"These subtle correspondences between scents and colors invite a fresh perception of the works, creating a dialogue between vision, scent, and sensation.", Véronique Serrano, chief curator, Bonnard Museum.
On the occasion of the exhibitions “Bonnard Intime – Les Toilettes de Marthe” & "Bonnard - L'atalier au Mimosa", I was commissioned to create a scent palette consisting of six fragrances, each composed as a sensory evocation of a theme dear to the artist: the mimosa of Le Cannet, the freshness of bathing scenes, interiors in the morning light, and Mediterranean gardens. The idea behind this project is to enrich your experience of interacting with the paintings.
Looking at the paintings, my imagination takes me on a journey to the places and scenes depicted, and I experience them coming to life, each with its own atmosphere and scents - which guide me in the perfume creation. I invite you to read my impressions in the short texts that accompany each painting.
Throughout the exhibition, you’ll find apothecary bottles. Gently lift the lid and inhale the scent to immerse yourself in the painting before you. Give free rein to your sensations, memories, emotions, and imagination…
Let the magic happen… I’d love for you to share your thoughts with us.
